About 3,939 Properties Were Sold to Foreign Nationals in Turkey in July 2022
On July 2022, 3939 properties were purchased, and sales were made to foreign nationals in the Republic of Turkey. In the last seven months, more than 40 thousand foreign citizens have owned real estate in Turkey. The vast majority of these sales were made to Russian citizens. After Russian citizens, the foreigners who owned the most properties in Turkey were Iran, Iraq, and Kazakhstan citizens, respectively.
Russian Citizens Are Interested in Turkey
According to the statistics published by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the citizens who buy the most properties in Turkey are Russian citizens. While Russians topped the list with 1,028 property purchases in July 2022, Iranian citizens ranked second with 431 property purchases, followed by Iraqis with 380 property purchases.
